About Harvest House

Harvest House Mission

The mission of Harvest House is to provide food and shelter to those who are less fortunate, and at a point of need in their life.

Harvest House Vision

The vision of Harvest House is founded on Isaiah 58 6-9.

1. Provide food from a well-stocked pantry to those in our area who are in need. (Vs.7- “Is it not to share your bread with the hungry?”)
2. Provide clothing from a well-stocked thrift store to the less fortunate. (Vs. 7-“When you see the naked that you cover him.”)
3. Support Christian ministries that provide women and children with a place where victorious, independent living is the final objective. Specifically, a place of new beginnings that provides hope and the necessary tools to meet the challenges of a renewed life. (Vs. 7-“And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out.”)
4. To appropriate the promises in Isaiah 58:8-9. Your light shall break forth like the morning Your healing shall spring forth speedily Your righteousness shall go before you The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard You shall call and the Lord will say, “Here I am.”

Harvest House Goals

1. To remain true to the vision that God had given Harvest House.
2. To have an abundance of food to meet the needs of the local community.
3. To have an abundance of clothes to help the less fortunate, not only in our area but anywhere there is need.
4. To help build and support the vision, mission, and goals of Hosanna House.
5. To work with the city and the community on outreach programs so that we might continue to reflect the true image of Jesus Christ.
